The Price of Freedom
Saturday, May 26th, 11:30 a.m. at Silver Star Theater
Matinee performance with buffet meal.  $36 group rate for Sunland residents.  The Price of Freedom is a powerful musical based on actual letters from World War II.  The Musical tells the story of several soldiers who fought and the loved ones they left behind though letters, period newsreels, and original music.  The Price of Freedom is the result of a collaboration between composer Rob Gardner and songwriter McKane Davis. The show first premiered in November 2002. Since then, it has been performed live for audiences across the country. The response afterward from the patrons is invariably: “this is something that everyone in America needs to experience.”

This annual FREE Expo is for Sunland Charter Clubs, non-charted clubs and special interest groups to host a table and share with the Sunland community what they are doing this next winter season.  You will have the opportunity to sign up for memberships, offer to volunteer, try a new class, etc.  Everyone is invited to come and learn about why Sunland Village is such a wonderful community.
 
Arts and Crafts Fair

The Songsters start off the evening leading us in popular holiday songs followed by the man in the "jolly ole' suit" turning on the lights of our 9' Christmas Tree (donated by the Sunland Foundation).  The Special Event Committee will provide cookies and hot chocolate after the tree is lit!  Free to all Sunland residents.
