It's time for the 2nd annual Christmas Lights & Decorations contest.  Details here  People's Choice voting is December 7 through 19, 2021. Download ballot here  The ballot box will be located in the Auditorium lobby.
Songsters Christmas Concert
Saturday, December 4th to Sunday, December 5th at Auditorium
The Sunland Songsters winter performance is held on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.  Residents interested in joining the choir can find information in the September Journal.  Rehearsals begin on October 5.
 
SV Foundation Shred-a-Thon
Saturday, December 4th, 9:30-11 a.m. at Main Parking Lot
Shred-a-thon will be held in the Auditorium parking lot.  It is sponsored by the Sunland Foundation, open to all residents.  This event is FREE.  
Sunland Car Show
Saturday, December 11th, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at Auditorium Parking Lot
Put on by the Off Broadway Players as a fundraiser for their annual drama production.  If interested in showing a vehicle or becoming a vendor, please contact Linda Baxter at 480.862.0763.  Free to attend.   Fundraiser for "Toys for Tots"!  Please bring a toy or cash to help out the Marine's fundraiser.

Gordy & Debby Holiday Concert
Wednesday, December 15th, 7 p.m. at Auditorium
Reserved Seating!  Special $15 per ticket!  This lively 90 minute concert brings a variety of Christmas music, county sounds from Branson, MO and some popular classic rock thrown in.  Gordy and Debby's wit and charm will warm your heart and want you asking for more!  Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Bill Harrison, Arizonan Historian returns with a new presentation, "Go Through It, Fly Over It or Dig Under It.  A Legendary POW Camp in Arizona in WWII".  Dessert and coffee are included!  Tickets are $5 each.  Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
New Year's Eve Celebration

"Putting on the Ritz" in Sunland Village!  Dinner will feature Prime Rib and Glazed Salmon plus salad, sides & dessert.  Music provided by Urban Crossroads Band.  Tickets are $40/person before December 1st and $45/person after - they are available at ticket sales events.  Watch the ball drop in New York City at 10:00pm!
Highland High String Orchestra

Tickets are on sale now at Ticket Sales Events, $8 each.  Purchase your ticket early since seating is limited and this event sells out early!  There will be a meet and greet with the students and an opportunity to purchase a CD of past performances after the concert.
