Homeowners, if you are planning to:
- Re-shingle your roof
- Paint your house
- Build a block wall
- Add a storage shed
- Enclose a patio
- Change out windows
- Do any other projects to the exterior of your home or your property
Please avoid costly mistakes and have your project approved by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) prior to beginning any projects. ACC members generally meet every Thursday at 11:30 a.m. to review applications and requests.
Architectural/Paint Change Form are available at the office or online.
A bright green change Permit will be issued when your project is approved. Please place in your front window to let others know you have received approval to make changes to the exterior of your home.
The SVCA staff is able to answers most questions and some projects can be approved immediately.
Paint Color Chart
All colors on the approved paint chart can be used for trim. The colors that are on the trim chart cannot be used as primary colors but only for trim.
Our SV paint colors now have numbers and names associated with them. We have worked with Dunn Edwards to update our paint chart. To see the colors, Click Here For Dunn Edwards.
If you see a color you are interested in, they will send you free samples at no charge. If you buy from the color chart, you will receive a discount up to 37% off retail.
If you buy your paint elsewhere, you can refer to the colors on the chart and they should be able to match their color with the color you selected. This should greatly help homeowners in the paint approval process.
Prior to having a company replace your roof, please fill out an ACC Form and submit to the office.
Changes that do not meet our resident/board approved guidelines or projects that did not obtain prior approval are in violation of our CC & R’s and are subject to fines as set out in the fines policy.
Sunland Village CC & R’s and the ACC Guidelines are in place to ensure properties are maintained in a clean and uniform fashion so please be mindful of weeds and untrimmed trees and bushes in your yard.
