Update November 14, 2023
Before During Concept
After a long process of obtaining a City of Mesa approvable permit, the new Fiber Arts building has been given a “Green Light” to start full construction. Danu Construction, our general contractor, prepared the property months ago with an approved demolition permit and looking at the pictures demolition was successfully accomplished. Danu construction is busy assembling all the sub-contractors to start the construction and we are running into the holidays, so it is a “good bet” that our building will not be completed until the new year. Just to clear things up, this is not a Fiber Optics building, but a Fiber Arts building - new home for the Quilters, Quilts of Valor, and many more sewing types of groups. I will keep you regularly updated with future articles and pictures as progression moves along on our building!! - Kevin Tracy, Board Member
